ACCOUNT MANAGER - REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Are you an experienced account manager or sales professional with a strong background in trade distribution? Do you have a passion for garden machinery or outdoor power equipment? Henton & Chattell Ltd, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading distributors, is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth and manage dealer relationships across the Republic of Ireland.

The Role:

As Republic of Ireland Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of our trade accounts and lead the development of our dealer network. This field-based role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and a strong understanding of the sales cycle within trade environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, support, and grow relationships with existing dealers and trade customers
• Identify and secure new account opportunities across ROI
• Represent and promote leading garden machinery and equipment brands
• Provide product training, demonstrations, and aftersales support
• Report on market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure outstanding service delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven account management or trade sales experience within the industry
• Knowledge of garden machinery is essential
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and confident working independently
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout ROI
• Full clean driving licence
