STIHL Great Britain has announced an expansion to its distribution with effect from 1 January 2027, when it will take on the role of distributing its tools, accessories and spare parts to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Sales to the dealer network in these locations are currently being handled by Origo Distribution Ltd., who have worked with the STIHL Group for 26 years. However, from 2027, the STIHL Executive Board has decided that STIHL Great Britain will expand to cover the region.
The company says that thorough handover will take place between Origo and themselves in order "to be ready to hit the ground running in 2027."
STIHL GB managing director, Kay Green, said, “We are excited about the opportunities that this expansion will bring and we believe that we can deliver key efficiencies to help grow and reinforce the STIHL brand in this market. We value the work that Origo has done to bring STIHL to both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and we look forward to continuing this work.”
The company promises that further information will follow in 2026
