On Wednesday (August 20th 2025) Burton-based Dunstall Holdings who own dealers Rea Valley Tractors and Teme Valley Tractors, posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators via law firm Eversheds Sutherland.

A statement posted to RVT's website read, "Owing to challenges currently facing the group, the Directors of Dunstall Holdings Limited, together with its subsidiaries - Rea Valley Tractors Limited, RVT Commercial Vehicles, Altegra Integrated Solutions Limited, Altegra Access & Security Systems Limited, Teme Valley Tractors Limited, and Teme Valley Tractors (Welshpool) have taken the difficult decision to file a notice of intention to appoint administrators. The Group is not currently in administration and continues to trade with the support of its key stakeholders.

"This step provides the opportunity to explore options for the best route forward for the future of the business."

An article on TheBusinessDesk stated that in its latest accounts, made up the end of 2023, Dunstall Holdings posted turnover of almost £143m and employed 261 staff.

Recently, on August 4th, Rea Valley Tractors had posted to their own website that they had appointed Shawn Blake as their new managing director.

As part of his appointment statement, Simon Clarke, chairman of Dunstall Holdings is quoted as saying, “Rea Valley Tractors remains firmly committed to delivering the highest standards of service and support to farmers and landowners across our regions."

According to Companies House Dunstall Holdings's Steven Petford, who is listed on their website as group managing director, stepped down from his role on 25 July 2025.
